Morgan Stanley Wealth Management provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses and institutions. These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement and trust.The Private Banking Group (PBG) is a large and growing contributor to both the revenue and earnings of Wealth Management. The bank is responsible for developing, launching and managing innovative banking and lending services tailored to affluent and high net worth Wealth Management clients. Morgan Stanley's recent acquisition and upcoming integration of E*TRADE will provide many opportunities for growth within the bank over the course of 2023 and beyond. The Deposits team in PBG focuses on driving deposit growth and capability improvements in Wealth Management through brokerage sweep deposits, savings, term, and foreign currency products.  Deposit acquisition represents one of the most important strategic growth areas of for the bank, particularly with the integration of E*TRADE's checking, savings, and brokerage accounts.Position Summary: The Pricing Manager Vice President position is a strategic role, responsible for developing and managing the implementation of comprehensive deposits pricing strategy, as well as build and execute Deposit growth initiatives, as we aim to aggressively grow balances over the next few years.  This role will include significant collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies, execute on key priorities and will report directly to the Deposits Product and Pricing Executive Director.Key focus areas for this role:•    Develop and execute Deposits Pricing Strategy through detailed analysis for internal drivers and competitive intel•    Evaluate, size, and develop new product opportunities initiatives and drive product management decisions•    Lead projects from start to finish, working with cross-functional teams including partners from marketing, sales, finance, technology, operations, legal, and compliance to launch and implement new initiatives•    Engage and collaborate with partners to drive insight generation and gather fact base to support decision making•    Support Financial Advisors, Cash Management Specialists and Private Bankers in identifying client opportunities and the marketing of all deposit products and the client opportunitiesKey Requirements:•    Bachelor's degree with 6-10 years or more experience in a commercial or Private Bank, analyzing and developing deposit products and pricing•    Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, strategic initiatives•    Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead through influence vs. authority; ability to create consensus and drive results when working with cross-functional teams•    Self-starter who is able to work independently on multiple tasks; efficient time management skills and attention to detail•    Superior analytical and statistical skills; comfortable with analyzing large data sets and driving insights•    Mastery of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); with ability to put together cohesive, senior management-ready materialExpected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment.  However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Morgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
