Position OverviewQinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Deputy Director, Intelligence Operations to support mission essential work at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The selected candidate will have responsibility in the following areas:
ResponsibilitiesProvides project management support for a 24/7 mission operations center supporting the intelligence community (IC) & law enforcement partners.Delivers strong managerial experience organizing, planning, directing, and managing a team of professional, technical and administrative staff.Provides strategic, tactical, and operational data analysis for entity vetting, screening, and targeting operations.Supports analysis of illicit actors and/or entities with links or associations to known suspected terrorists and/or entities who threaten homeland security.Performs analytical research on persons, commercial entities, and cargo.Manages the coordination of critical intelligence activities, programs, and initiatives.Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated experience supporting a 24x7 watch operation or mission operations coordination center in a law enforcement, military, or IC environment.Experience managing complex teams across a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups to achieve a common goal.Knowledge of the structure and organization of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Intelligence Community, and Federal Law Enforcement.Background in counternarcotics, counterproliferation, smuggling and human trafficking.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage diverse teams across multiple projects.Detail oriented leader, capable of understanding and communicating highly technical and complex topics to senior leaders in dynamic environments.Familiar with analytical standards and tradecraft in law enforcement and intelligence community.Experience with data science, advanced analytical tools, and the use of Open-Source Intelligence/Publicly Available Information to support unclassified and classified analysis and operations.Must be able to readily adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.15 years of intelligence community experience.Must be able to successfully pass a DHS Background Investigation.Company EEO StatementAccessibility/Accommodation: If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to ****** or call (540) 658-2720 Opt.
