Deputy Finance Director

House Majority PAC is an organization designed to hold Republicans accountable and help elect more House Democrats. House Majority PAC is committed to building a long-term organization that can take on the Republican outside groups in the battle for the House Majority. The Deputy Finance Director will be tasked with assisting the Finance Director to manage fundraising programs and the finance team. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, efficient, communicative, and be driven to help elect Democrats, with prior experience in political fundraising.
\n Duties & Responsibilities:Supports the Finance Director in day-to-day operations and handling of our Finance teamManages Finance Associates and consultants, helping the organization build robust finance operationsSupports Finance team to meet fundraising goals and deadlinesManages collaboration with other departments such as our Communications team in planning and executing fundraising campaignsBuild and maintain external relationships through regular contact with stakeholdersPreparing donor meeting and event materialsOther duties as needed Qualifications:Passion for electing Democrats in House races across the countryThree or more cycles of working with Democratic campaigns and/or partner organizations in the fundraising spaceMinimum five years of experience managing relationships with external partners and donorsDemonstrated proficiency in NGP, ActBlue, Microsoft Office, Canva, and GSuiteDemonstrated proficiency in project management and team managementSelf-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skillsAvailability during evening and weekend hours; ability to work under tight deadlinePromote team growth by leveraging individual strengths and backgrounds to foster a culture of empowerment and excellenceWillingness to go with the flow and pace of a competitive, large-scale campaign finance operationExcellent research, writing, and editing skillsDiscretion and diplomacy in handling confidential and sensitive issuesBachelor's degree required
\nLOCATION:                  Washington, DC START DATE:               January-February 2025 TRAVEL:                       Some travel required SALARY:                      Starting at $100,000 annualized, commensurate with experience This is a temporary [cycle-based], at will position with an anticipated end date of no later than December 15, 2026 Our comprehensive benefits package includes: - Medical, dental, and vision; with 100% coverage for eligible staff and eligible dependents. - Over 25 days of paid time off including; federal holidays, vacation days, and personal days. - Monthly stipends for transportation and cell-phone expenses. - 401k program with a 4% employer match. - and more!  *Our benefits are governed by organizational policies and formal plan documents.
