Job Details Deputy Program Manager for the Contract Security Officer (CSO) Program, Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA)
Objective The Deputy Program Manager will provide direct administrative and operational support to the contracts Program Manager.
The Deputy Program Manager will have the responsibility and authority to successfully perform all administrative and operational tasks in the absence of or at the direction of the Program Manager.
The Deputy Program Manager will assist in assigned operational tasks daily and may be assigned to work cooperatively with clients, government Contracting Officers and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), corporate personnel, and the executive management team.
Essential Functions Validate, enter, and oversee payroll functions on a weekly basis, which includes but is not limited to manual time entry and reporting functions.
Manage and oversee employee suitability for employment, which includes but is not limited to new personnel processing.
Assist in the oversight of short-term and long-range plans regarding weekly schedules and operational planning.
Develops and maintains close working relationships with the client departments and their representatives.
Assist in the development of strategies to enhance, improve, and optimize operations to reduce costs for the Company and the client.
Assist in the evaluating job performance, employee training/development, promoting, and any disciplinary or corrective action, including termination, in concert with, and with oversight from, specific corporate personnel and Program Manager Work collaboratively with the Program Manager to ensure services are designed to meet company and contract objectives.
Remain aware of statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements that affect the facility's administrative decisions and/or security operations.
Responds on a 24-hour, 7-day basis to significant unusual occurrences, via email, text, phone or in person if required.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed to ensure the effective and successful operation of the facility.
Ensures all daily / Weekly / Monthly deliverables are completed in a timely manner and documented properly as assigned by the Program Manager and required by the client.

Education and Experience Undergraduate or higher degree in management, business, security, or a law enforcement-related field.
Five years of recent experience managing or overseeing contracts to provide security officer services to various locations and multiple facilities and to provide surge response to heightened security conditions, emergent needs, or special events.
Must have strong leadership ability, sound judgment, and effective administrative ability.
Must have strong analytical skills for resolving complex cross-functional problems.
Must demonstrate the ability to guide, direct and coordinate the efforts of others.
Must have strong math and MS-Excel skills to track costs and expenditures against budget.
Must understand time management methods to enable satisfying multiple competing objectives.
Related security/law enforcement administrative and managerial experience.
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management and interfaces with customer personnel.
Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews, and documents for internal and external use.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be a United States citizen.
At least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a reliable means of transportation.
Must have a DoD secret security clearance at the time of hiring.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Clearance at the level of Top Secret / SCI within one year of hiring.
The applicant must submit to a drug screening and is subject to Random Drug Testing
The applicant must be able to pass an NCIC / State / Local Background check and Credit check (as applicable).
Determination upon this position requires favorable determination by the Client before a hiring decision is made.
