Ensure safety of citizens and businesses in Rockwall County through various law enforcement activities.

Responsibilities
• Respond to calls for service• Perform traffic patrol• Serve warrants• Investigate accidents and narcotics violations• Provide K-9 assistance• Perform civil processes such as serving legal documents
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience• 45 semester hours of credit from accredited college or at least two years active duty in the US military with honorable discharge• Basic Peace Officer's Certification through TCOLE preferred or willing to complete police academy and pass the TCOLE peace officer's exam• Valid Class C Texas Driver's License• Ability to work a flexible schedule
