The Memphis VA Medical Center has an opening for a Dermatologist that comes with a dual academic affiliation appointment with the University of Tennessee Health Science-- Dermatologist certified in dermatopathology and/or MOHs is highly desired . The Medical Center consists of one main campus and ten community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs). It's a 1a complexity tertiary care VA healthcare system located in one of the fastest growing Veteran populations in the United States. The facility provides comprehensive care to almost 69,000 enrolled Veterans in a 52-county area of Western Tennessee, Northern Mississippi, and Northeast Arkansas. It includes 236 inpatient beds with a 26-bed Spinal Cord Injury Unit. It is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology, as well as extensive education and research programs. Comprehensive primary, secondary, and tertiary health care is provided in areas of specialty medicine, general cardiovascular, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, neurology, oncology, rheumatology, geriatrics, women's health, dentistry, and more.
