Opportunity: As the Employee Resources Benefits Specialist, you will enhance the employee experience by providing personalized support. You will guide employees through their benefit options, conduct one-on-one sessions, and lead benefit orientation programs. Your duties will include administration of leave of absence, reconciling billing statements, and overseeing the onboarding of new employees, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Competitive compensationEmployee appreciation events celebrating your contributions throughout the yearPaid vacation and holidaysWeekly PaychecksOn-site fitness centerExceptional Health BenefitsCompany Paid Dental Insurance As an Employee Resources Benefits Specialist, You Will: Provide support at open enrollment meetings, guiding employees through the process of enrolling in dental, vision, medical, and life insurance plans.Conduct new hire benefit orientations, educating employees on their benefits package and its utilization.Handle COBRA administration processes including all paperwork, and managing enrollments, and payments.Address employee questions or concerns regarding benefit coverage and ensure records in ADP are updated to reflect life event changes.Administer and process leave of absence requests and related paperwork, including Disability, FMLA, and PFL.Maintain knowledge of ACA processes, Workers' Compensation, and OSHA compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations.Keep employee files up to date with all required documentation.Reconcile billing statements accurately and timely.Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in all employee interactions.Support and participate in employee engagement initiatives, including but not limited to the mentor program, by actively promoting participation and cultivating positive, energetic interactions with participants.Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring to Derrick: A Bachelors degree is preferred; an Associates degree is the minimum requirement.At least two (2) years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits preferred.Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Strong sense of urgency with excellent task prioritization and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, associates, and leadership.Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.Friendly, cooperative attitude, fostering positive relationships across all employees and departments.Flexibility to transition between tasks as needed.Willingness to provide support beyond regular working hours when necessary.Demonstrate company core values through behavior that aligns with each guiding principle. Pay Range: $55,000-65,000
