Ryann Reed Design Build is seeking an Estimator/Purchasing Specialist SUMMARY Responsible for developing hard cost estimates on projects for residential interiors and exteriors and light commercial construction as required by client and design documents, providing a total bid and detailed contract specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Designers to gather information, review construction documents, understand scope of work, then develop a detailed Scope of Work along with Design drawings for the proposed project for sales to present a construction agreement. Conduct on-site measuring as required.Work with sales to review Project Development Agreements for accuracy before initial presentation to clients.Conduct on-site measuring and walkthroughs with trade contractors.Execute take-offs of construction documents.Input take-offs information into CRM system.Obtain pricing for materials.Obtain bids from subcontractors.Review trade contractor estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.Prepare specifications for presentation to clients.Review materials and designer take offs for accuracy.Upon Salesperson selling the project, after completion of a handoff meeting with design and sales, order all special order materials with accuracy.Interact with field staff to provide technical direction and support, as well as to resolve questions and issues as they arise.The duties are not limited to the information listed above, additional work and responsibilities may be required to be completed as part of normal duties of the job.Assist with permit submission as needed.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc. Develop work strategies to execute the job more effectively.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year.
