The Role About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Engagement Director to join our team! The Design Engagement Director will lead and deploy the design engagement strategy for Fisher & Paykel and DCS within the US market, solidifying the company's position in the premium luxury segment. This role involves overseeing and enabling Design Development Managers (DDMs) to drive engagement with the design community, managing Experience Centers (ECs) and their teams, and contributing to the overall brand and revenue growth.
You Will: The Design Engagement Director will create marketing support and amplification guidance across all function aspects. They will adapt and execute brand practices across all SDA (Specifier Designer & Architecture) touchpoints, while leading and managing SDA engagement execution, providing insights to key stakeholders. Additionally, the director will support and coach the team through leadership capabilities to develop the team abilities and skill set, creating an environment conducive for strategic and insight-led collaboration driving to incremental growth of our target goals.
Design Engagement Delivery: Implement DDM client development plans with a focus on CRM call cycle and data source activation.Plan, manage, and maintain investment levels to assure optimal ROI.Collaborate with the global team to identify key SDA, builder, and developer opportunities.Provide end-to-end support to the SDA community using DDM toolkits and messaging frameworks.Stay updated on SDA strategy, market changes, and best practices.Collaborate with in-market SDA/builder channels to ensure communications and activities align with brand standards.Develop relationships with external industry bodies and marketing agents to support SDA marketing strategy.Plan and execute SDA marketing activities in alignment with the Marketing Playbook Strategy.Ensure SDA communications and activities contribute to overall business objectives.Provide fact-based feedback to the GM Global Marketing and Global Design Engagement Lead.DDM (Design Development Managers): Recruit and assess DDM talent.Develop and lead the US DDM team.Guide and support investment levels with individual DDMs.Implement training guides for the global DDM team.Conduct regular meetings with local and global teams for direction and prioritization.Manage Salesforce CRM strategy and reporting.EC (Experience Center Managers): Implement and maintain the EC toolkit.Support EC launches aligned with the brand center of excellence.Report on regional Experience Center performance.Continuously improve operations aligned with global guidelines.Focus on quality EC activations to provide premium luxury brand experiences.Project Planning Management & Reporting: Collaborate with global teams on designing technical partnerships.Manage DDM tools and ensure up-to-date contact management.Work with Brand Marketing and Digital teams on trade resources.Stay informed on new product introductions and timings.Lead project plans with a process-driven approach and active collaboration.Track investment value and return across SDA audience engagement.Manage marketing tool budgets to approved plans.Leadership/Influence: Provide direction for key strategic decisions related to SDA initiatives.Establish and align a culture that demonstrates company values.Coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team.Provide regular feedback to help individuals thrive.Drive a collaborative, proactive, and outcome-focused culture.Support recruitment and onboarding of key talent.You Have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Interior Design, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Design, Marketing or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of successfully executing marketing strategies that influenced market share and profitable growth.Industry experience working with Architects, Interior Designers and/or Specifiers preferred.Exceptional project management abilities and proven experience leading cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Experience in the consumer electronics or home appliances industry preferred.Our Benefits at a Glance

This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer. Factors considered when extending an offer include (but are not limited to) education, experience, relevant skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
