Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC design engineers and designers. Set clear goals, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance to ensure successful project outcomes. Encourage professional development and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.Design & Development: Apply in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, heat transfer, and thermodynamics to optimize HVAC designs. Oversee the design and development of HVAC systems focused on data center cooling solutions. Review and approve detailed designs, drawings, and technical specifications for HVAC systems. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company objectives.Project Management: Manage design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Collaborate with R&D, product management, and production teams to integrate HVAC designs with other system components. Lead design review meetings and ensure alignment with overall product strategy.Research & Development: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in data center cooling, HVAC systems, and sustainable design solutions. Conduct technical research, testing, and prototyping to enhance product performance and efficiency.Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements in the HVAC design and development lifecycle. Explore new technologies, tools, and materials to enhance efficiency and product innovation. Oversee Engineering Change order process.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
