As a Design Manager on the All Suites team reporting to the Director of Design All Suites, you will be the recognized authority in the area of interior design and contact for select Franchisees and portfolios within the All Suites Brand category of Hilton.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like: Review and provide timely, digital comments on New Build, Conversion, Adaptive Re-Use, and/or Renovation Interior Design Submittals to ensure agreement on published Standards and Brand's design strategy while upholding the brand's integrity Assist in technical design services, including review of detailed design drawing sets, specifications, finishes, and shop drawings for adherence to brand standards Proficiently lead the workflow of projects, ensuring all challenges are dealt with satisfactorily, and provide training to internal and external partners as needed to ensure understanding of each brand's design How you will collaborate with others: Partner with Architecture and Construction team to study design opportunities for conversion and PIP projects. Negotiate with Franchisees, and their Interior Designers, to achieve mutually agreeable solutions while maintaining Brand intent and communicating conclusions for full agreement and support.  Conduct pre-design and ID kick-off meetings or webinars with the franchisee's team. Schedule and participate in vendor, supplier, and manufacturer presentations to support maintaining and building industry relationships. Source relevant products, design techniques, and production methods. Maintain strong working knowledge of current Brand Standards and Hilton prototype packages across the brands; and assist in the revision of Standards and design tools to continually refine and improve products. What projects you will take ownership of: All Suites Branded Properties, ensuring agreement to brand pillars, market requirements, brand standards, along with strategic corporate initiatives and objectives, offering specific value-additive solutions WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT You have these minimum qualifications: Five (5) years of design experience as a project designer and/or design manager for a hotel operator or ownership group, or Interior Designer at a firm specializing in hospitality Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam Travel domestically up to 15% It would be useful if you have: NCIDQ Certified Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Interior Design In-depth knowledge of procurement, project management, and design products and finishes.
