Join our Foundations Product Design team as a Design Producer, where you will drive production for our Content Design and Visual Experience teams, as well as for both internal and external events showcasing the Asana product. This role focuses on improving team velocity through rigorous project management and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features, programs, and guidance across our design and product teams. Reporting to our Design Program Management lead, you will work closely with design leadership, content/product designers, product managers, and marketing partners to manage day-to-day project oversight, deliverables, processes, and communications, contributing to our cross-functional Product Development Process.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve
Intake, triage, and prioritize stakeholder requests for Content Design and Visual Experience to create internal roadmaps and ensure consistent delivery.
Confirm deliverables, create timelines, and coordinate work using Asana to meet set deadlines.
Collaborate with internal product design teams through documentation, office hours, reviews, and training to improve connectivity.
Foster proactive connections with internal stakeholders via clear communication and optimized Asana workflows.
Identify potential obstacles and risks to key programs, implementing effective solutions.
Partner with Design Leadership to refine processes, tools, and systems ensuring consistent, high-quality work.
Communicate progress towards goals clearly and consistently to relevant teams.
Optimize Visual Systems & Asset Libraries.
About you
5+ years of relevant experience in design operations, design people operations, or project/program management of design deliverables, with a BA/BS degree or higher.
Extensive involvement in the creative process related to product design and marketing, including branding, strategy, digital, UI/UX, and foundations design.
Proven skills in communication, multi-tasking, and organization, connecting project stakeholders, internal teams, designers, production vendors, and media partners.
Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, from creating project timelines to coordinating stakeholder feedback to delivering approved designs on time.
Familiarity with scaling processes within a Product organization, effectively transitioning processes piloted by smaller teams to wider R&D applications.
Proficiency with Design and work management tools.
Strong systems thinking and problem-solving abilities, comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in determining and executing necessary actions.
Balanced approach to process, knowing when to apply thorough methods vs. lighter, agile processes for designers.

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $130,000 - $202,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
