A highly regarded law firm in Washington, D.C. is seeking skilled applicants for a Desktop Services Technician opening.
This is an on-site, contract role based out of the Washington, D.C. office.
Preferred applicants will have demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service in addition to 2-4 years in a Helpdesk or Desktop Support environment.
Pay starts at $29/hourContract role lasting 4-8 weeks (with the possibility of extension)Shifts are either 7:30am - 4:00pm OR 12:00pm - 8:30pmOn-site 5 days per week in Washington, D.C. The firm will be hiring one contractor per shift, with that contractor working their assigned shift for the duration of the contract.
This is an immediate hiring need.
Duties include:
• Complete assigned tickets adhering to standard operating procedures
• Troubleshoot issues related to laptop / desktop performance
• Resolve issues related to standard desktop kit / peripheral connectivity
• Image / provision / deploy laptops and desktops for replacement
• Troubleshoot printer hardware and connectivity issues
• Prepare offices for new hires and attorney office moves
• Wire vacant offices with close attention to cable management
• Assist with inventory tracking and reporting
• Configure and deploy loaner laptops for travel and break/fix
• Update firmware for docking stations in stock
• Configure firm-issued webcams in stock
• Keep IT space organized for efficient and effective use of stock
