Development Associate

About the Company: We are delighted to be partnered with a leading renewable energy company that is looking for a Development Associate to join their team.
About the Role: The Development Associate will support the development finance and project management initiatives.
The Development Associate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including financial analysis of potential and ongoing development projects, construction and permitting support, and fulfilling the team's administrative needs.
Responsibilities: Database Management: Update and maintain project databases to ensure accurate and current information.
Due Diligence and Feasibility: Collaborate with third-party consultants to manage due diligence and feasibility tasks for new projects.
Development Support: Assist Development Managers with tasks related to permitting, zoning, and engineering.
Accounting Support: Aid Development Managers with accounting matters, including preparing purchase orders, approving invoices, and developing projected financial summaries.
Budget and Schedule Management: Maintain project budgets and schedules, reporting on any variances.
Progress Reporting: Prepare reports for senior management detailing development progress and critical decision points.
Equity Partner Support: Provide project information and related reports or presentations to senior management and equity partners as requested.
Meeting Participation: Attend internal and external meetings, summarizing critical issues and action items.
Team Support: Assist the development team with current initiatives and new business development activities.
Qualifications: BA/BS degree requiredHighly organized with a strong attention to detailMinimum of 12-18 months experience in site-selection, permitting and development activities for industrial real estate or energy projects.
