Their mission is to make a significant impact on the addiction crisis through policy, scientific research, and partnerships with various critical stakeholders. The organization is also focused on changing the perception of addiction from a lack of moral character issue to recognition as a disease, integrating medication into treatment plans. This position will be involved at both a strategic and tactical level, with responsibilities that include strategy design and implementation, as well as managing the full lifecycle of fundraising for a portfolio of donors and prospects. There will be an initial focus on securing funds from foundation, corporate, and government grants. This role will also be responsible for selecting and implementing a donor CRM. Qualified candidates should have a demonstrated track record of securing gifts from various sources. Strong mission alignment is critical.
This is a unique position in that both the job title and salary range are negotiable based on each candidate's experience. The working job title and salary range are Development Director and $120,000 to $180,000 per year, respectively. This position operates remotely and can be based anywhere in the US.
