Senior-level Fundraising position(Final title will be based on experience) Policy and Health Research Nonprofit Remote Anywhere in the US Posted Salary: $120,000 to $180,000 per year, with flexibility based on experience Terrific senior-level fundraising position with an early stage nonprofit. Their mission is to make a significant impact on the addiction crisis through policy, scientific research, and partnerships with various critical stakeholders. The organization is also focused on changing the perception of addiction from a lack of moral character issue to recognition as a disease, integrating medication into treatment plans. This position will be involved at both a strategic and tactical level, with responsibilities that include strategy design and implementation, as well as managing the full lifecycle of fundraising for a portfolio of donors and prospects. There will be an initial focus on securing funds from foundation, corporate, and government grants. This role will also be responsible for selecting and implementing a donor CRM. Qualified candidates should have a demonstrated track record of securing gifts from various sources. Strong mission alignment is critical.
This is a unique position in that both the job title and salary range are negotiable based on each candidate's experience. The working job title and salary range are Development Director and $120,000 to $180,000 per year, respectively. This position operates remotely and can be based anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:Create and implement a fundraising plan that includes individuals, government/foundation grants, corporate partnerships, and eventsProvide moves management to a portfolio of current and prospective donorsSecure grant funding by researching new funding sources and writing compelling proposals; manage post-award grant reportingPlan and implement fundraising campaignsConvey the organization's mission to donors and prospectsImplement a donor CRM and manage donor dataCoordinate with internal team members and external partnersQualifications:Ability to serve as a strategist and tactician for an early stage organization working to drive change at a large scaleStrong track record of securing gifts from various funding sourcesBachelor's degree requiredComfortable interfacing with high net worth individuals and the corporate C-suiteSelf-motivated, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented and polishedStrong connection to the organization's mission (personal or professional) and the ability convey impact to donorsAbility to work remotely and travel as neededExperience implementing a CRM a plusEqual opportunity employer.
