Devops Engineer (Security)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in integrating security practices into our DevOps processes, ensuring the security and reliability of our software, production, and corporate infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with software engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement and maintain security controls, tools, and processes to protect our production and corporate infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Perform security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks in software applications and infrastructure components.
Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and incident response processes.
Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and incidents to detect and respond to security threats and breaches in a timely manner.
Conduct security training and awareness programs for development and operations teams to promote security awareness and best practices.
Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in DevSecOps, cloud computing, and information security

Who You Are:
5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Information Security, or related role.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience with security tools and technologies such as WAFs, IDS/IPS, SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and security automation frameworks.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP.
Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and security controls.
Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
