The Diesel Generator Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and pre-tripping Thermo King, Carrier Genset units, and other container/ Chassis Repair duties. #PR Responsibilities: Responsibilities:Diagnoses, maintains, repairs, rebuilds, and/or replaces electronic, and mechanical parts as requiredBasic Diesel Technician skillsetDetermines proper part numbers by consulting service and parts manualsOperates appropriate powered industrial equipment when necessaryUnderstands safety takes precedence over operating productivity at all timesInspects Genset repair area for safety conditionsTakes necessary measures to prevent injuries and property damageComplies with environmental regulations as it pertains to their area of responsibility, and ensures Conglobal is in compliance with pertinent environmental regulationsChassis/ Container repair dutiesWhat We offer:Competitive pay, Benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, Career Advancement Opportunities, Paid Training and much more! Starting Pay: $22.90 to $26.00/hr Depending on experience Qualifications: RequirementsPrior Genset repair experience preferredPior Container/ Chassis repair experience preferredExperience with reading and understanding computer generated work ordersStrong communicator; communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner Conforms with and abides by all work regulations, policies, procedures, safety rules and instructionsWillingness to obtain Forklift CertificationComfortable with working alone and/or with minimal supervisionAbility to train other employees as necessary
