Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities:
- Meal Service: Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing, and timely in accordance with the current menu, following time and temperature standards.
- Setup: Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room.
- Diet Compliance: Serve food according to current diet, texture, and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures.
- Quality Check: Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution.
- Delivery: Deliver food carts, trays, and other items to designated areas.
- Cleanup: Remove soiled carts and dishes from the dining area upon completion of meal service.
- Dishwashing: Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure readiness for the next meal.

Requirements
•High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
•Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available
