About the Role
The Competitive Enterprise Institute's Digital Marketing Manager will assist the Director of Marketing and communications team to execute digital strategy that promotes CEI's policy work and advances CEI's mission and goals. This position will assist CEI's online marketing efforts including: social media, email marketing, website management, video creative and graphic design, and online advertising. This is a full-time, in office position in CEI's headquarters in Washington, DC. CEI employees can work remotely one day/week.

Primary Responsibilities
Work with marketing staff to manage content creation & strategy for CEI
Track and monitor results and report to supervisor with feedback
Assist in managing email marketing program, including weekly email deployments, list maintenance, templates, registration pages, and automation functions
Manage CEI.org website properties, including posting content, supervising long-term website projects, and troubleshooting staff requests
Utilize website analytics and social media tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and Facebook Insights to analyze data and improve effectiveness of CEI's messaging
Assist in producing a CEI podcast (training provided)
Write scripts and assist in producing CEI policy videos
Assist in managing CEI online advertising campaigns
Assist in management of CEI's studio including filming and live broadcasts (training provided)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing and content creation
Strong writing, communications, and organizational skills required
A thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape
The capacity to juggle numerous projects and online campaigns
Alignment with and excitement for the mission of CEI
