The Senior Digital Media Planner will be responsible for managing several clients in our portfolio. ? Responsibilities include: Help shape our clients' digital media strategy by leading client development to deliver business objectives Create and present innovative media recommendations through integration across the media spectrum—display, mobile, video, programmatic, social, paid search, print, radio, connected TV and OOH Contribute to agency revenue growth by participating in new business pitches Maintain and strengthen relationships/partnerships with media vendors, ad tech companies, and agency partners Act as intermediary between client, internal departments and external creative agency partners Negotiate media space and data targeting to optimize budget and return on investment Troubleshoot and escalate potential issues in a proactive manner Proactively research and become knowledgeable with the vendor community for new sites, innovative and creative ad units and technologies, as well as competitive information Contribute to the client relationship and potentially be point person to project manage moving parts while being part of a larger team Manage the media buy from RFP to IO to renewal: from troubleshooting & optimization to reporting & analysis. Opportunity to work on a team for one of our larger brands Qualifications: 2-4 years of digital media strategy/planning/buying within an agency, publisher or client environment Demonstrated experience developing media plans/strategies (example may be requested) Extensive client-facing experience and presentation skills. As comfortable with reviewing data with clients as discussing publisher pros and cons. Keen understanding of the evolving digital landscape and how digital fits into the overall marketing mix Independent contributor with the ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration, as well as work independently Highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Pharmaceutical experience is a bonus but not mandatory Hands-on programmatic or paid social experience a plus Performance media mindset Experience with Ad Serving (DoubleClick) and Bid Management technologies (programmatic trading desks) Ability to use syndicated research to guide strategic thinking (i.e. comScore, Nielsen, Kantar, etc.) Effective time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize proactively, and ability to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with good project management skills Strong analytical mindset (experienced with large data sets) SLD is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
