Job Summary
The Digital Product team builds the digital ecosystem for our prospects and clients through their digital channel of choice with a focus on improving customer experience, driving leads for our business, and underscoring our core values. The Digital Product VP, Commercialization, will set the vision for deeper commercialization of MS.com and work hand in hand with other business units to make it come to life. The VP will own the product roadmap and testing agenda for digital experiences related to our conversion goals. This role will drive the management, socialization, and evolution of that roadmap and oversee a team that build features and capabilities that enable our users to understand where to begin and enhance their relationship with Morgan Stanley. The VP will also manage integration points with engineering, UX, analytics, and Martech platforms.
This role requires an outgoing individual who can collaborate with empathy and communicate with clarity across a matrixed team of internal digital marketing disciplines, QA and development technology, business stakeholders, and external vendors. The right candidate is a thought leader in consumer website best practices and enjoys working on transformative digital products. This role reports to the Executive Director, Digital and is a part of the Firmwide Marketing team.
Responsibilities
-Set the vision for our MS.com digital experiences that drive commercial outcomes for Morgan Stanley on the homepage and other high traffic areas of the site
-Partner with internal business unit stakeholders in our Wealth Management, Investment Management and Institutional Securities Group to create key features and user journeys that generate leads for the business
-Own the solutioning for these products through continuous learning and understanding of digital best-in-class solutions
-Socialize the product roadmap amongst our key internal stakeholders, including business unit leads, adjacent marketing channel owners, and technology and analytics leaders
-Partner with engineering and analytics teams to develop your product strategy which will deliver qualified leads to multiple business units across the Firm.
-Manage the performance of your digital experience: You should be comfortable in a data-driven product environment and use data to diagnose opportunities for improvement of the user experience and business outcomes
-You will support a test-and-learn efforts by incorporating a robust test & learn curriculum, making decisions with existing KPIs, helping to identify new ones, and responding to data with product enhancements.
-Drive web personalization: You will incorporate personalization strategies into your roadmap to elevate the experience for our audiences
-7-8 years of experience as a digital product leader with a track record of managing high-performing teams to launch highly effective digital experiences and experience with large-scale, high-visibility product initiatives involving technical, legal, and operational governance as well as regulatory requirements
-Experience in leading discovery, defining product vision, OKRs, success metrics, user journeys, capabilities, and features
-Experience working within Agile methodology, Agile ceremonies, and MVP approach to product rollout
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability distill complex problems into discrete fixes that can be resolved iteratively
-Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers, analytics teams, and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiences
-Polished written and verbal communications to influence and drive consensus within a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders
-Strong presentation skills, with ability to run a meeting and present to senior leaders
-Experience leveraging product testing to maximize conversion lift
-Strong Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
-Familiarity with JIRA, JIVE, Sharepoint,
-Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (particularly Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics) preferred
-Collaborative personality, with equal interest in sharing talents as learning from others
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 110,000and 190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
