Position: Digital School Psychologist
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Remote (Based in New Mexico)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular school hours
Responsibilities:
As a Digital School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in empowering students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Providing counseling and support to students facing social or emotional challenges.
Participating in virtual meetings and consultations with school teams to discuss student progress and devise intervention strategies.
Conducting virtual behavioral observations and offering recommendations for effective interventions.
Assisting in the development of school-wide programs and strategies to promote students' mental health and well-being.
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid New Mexico School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain one.
Previous experience working with K-12 students, ideally in a digital or remote setting.
Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and drafting comprehensive reports.
Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations, including experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle caseloads efficiently.
Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technological tools for remote work
