The Opportunity: Fisher Investments is looking for a Solutions Architect specializing in Media and Entertainment to design and improve our Client Portal's OTT/LMS functionality. You will focus on integrating advanced media technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and engaging experiences for our clients and prospects worldwide, while using cloud-based solutions and AI-driven innovations. You will report to the VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications Technology Services. The Day-to-Day:Architect and improve the OTT/LMS platform using cloud-native technologies, including Salesforce Stack (Experience Cloud, Personalize, DC), Azure services for media and entertainmentDesign scalable systems to handle live streaming for 100K+ concurrent users with media delivery and cloud-based content delivery networksDevelop secure, role-based authentication mechanisms integrating with enterprise identity providers like Okta and AuthPromote content personalization by using AI/ML technologies and data analytics platforms like Salesforce Personalize & Data CloudCollaborate with Marketing and Product teams to implement advanced analytics and reporting features using cloud-based business intelligence toolsEnsure global usability through localization, responsive design, and headless CMS architectureMaintain a modular, API-first architecture to support new content types and extensibilityOversee compliance with international privacy regulations and internal standardsYour Qualifications: Required:10+ years of experience in architecture and design for digital and OTT platforms in the media and entertainment industryStrong knowledge of AI/ML technologies for content personalization and recommendation enginesExpertise in cloud-based media delivery and management using services like Experience Cloud, Media Hub Like Kaltura/Vimeo, Azure Media ServiceProven experience designing scalable platforms to support 100K+ concurrent users on cloud infrastructureExperience with API design, microservices architecture, and cloud security protocolsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldPreferred:Experience with serverless architectures and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with data lakes and big data analytics platforms for user behavior analysisKnowledge of low-latency streaming technologies and protocols (e.g., WebRTC, DASH, or HLS)Understanding of edge computing for improved content delivery and reduced latencyExperience with cloud-native CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practicesCompensation:$140,000 - $190,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experienceEligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performanceWhy Fisher Investments: We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
