Overview:   The Director of Clinical Performance Acceleration has direct responsibility for oversight of the development, implementation, analytics and optimization of evidence based continuous process improvement tools used across the Mercy Ministry including the entire continuum of care, inpatient and outpatient. The tools include but are not limited to clinical pathways, care paths, order sets, interdisciplinary care plans and other clinical documentation tools and workflow processes that support high-quality clinical care. Director oversees additional projects related to improving clinical, quality and financial performance as needed. In addition, the Director of Clinical Performance Acceleration has oversight of and management of Mercy customer relations related to above clinical tools. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Experience: Clinical or Engineering background with minimum of 10 years healthcare experience in a clinical discipline including 5 years of leadership/management experience plus 3 or more years experience in leading projects, initiatives or clinical operations at a progressive health system/environment/hospital Required Education: Master's in Nursing or another health, science, technology, engineering or business field Preferred Education: Doctorate in Nursing or another health, science, technology, engineering or business field Preferred Licensure: Provider; MD, DO, PA, NP Other: Collaborative, knowledgeable of health care environment and challenges, results oriented, change agent, people developer, critical thinker, able to work in the abstract and translate to concrete We Offer Great Benefits: Day-one comprehensive health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement and employer-matched retirement funds are just a few of the great benefits offered to eligible co-workers, including those working 32 hours or more per pay period!   We're bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.
