Other responsibilities include:
Partnering with Hospital Administration to facilitate the successful accomplishment of financial, operational, and quality goals.Increasing engagement of providers.Establishing additional affiliations with targeted providers.Ensuring staff meets the educational requirements for their respective job duties.Staffing clinics, which includes recruitment and retention of staff.Planning, organizing, and influencing department activities while maintaining continuous quality improvement.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in business or healthcare management.Master's degree in business or healthcare management preferred.Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in medical practice management required (with direct experience managing the revenue cycle).Knowledge of Accounts Receivable management, coding, Medicare & Medicaid regulations, payor contracting, and Billing & Collections.Knowledge of credentialing, regulatory compliance, etc.Frequent local travel time required.
