The Role

The position is accountable for a variety of functions that require strong business acumen and managed for cash telecom product knowledge by the incumbent and within the team the incumbent directs.
The Main Responsibilities

This Harvest Product organization is responsible for the development and ongoing management of Private Line, UNE, Ethernet/SONET, and Business Cooper Broadband.
Manage and modify a family of mature products. Create an understanding of the position of each product relative to competitors' products and relative to other families of products within Lumen.
Collaborate with other product groups, other BMG groups, and other functional groups across the entire business to understand the impact on the product (legal, regulatory, IT, network, corporate strategy, other BUs).
Manage revenue and segment income accountability (planning, budgeting, variance analysis, trend analysis).
Internal and external communications SMEs.
Direct a team of highly skilled product managers within the family of products.
Collaborate with other internal groups to promote cross-business unit strategies (legal, regulatory, IT, Network, corporate strategy).
Calculate, understand, and analyze revenue and segment income for the product portfolio and modify strategy to achieve results.
Support sales and marketing resources with information regarding customer needs the product is designed to match.
What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor's degree or technical degree (allows product director to understand benefits capability for customers).
Master's Degree preferred.
Telecom experience.
Engineering/Planning experience preferred.
10 years of experience in product management or product marketing.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$128310 - $171080

in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
$135060 - $180080

in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
$141820 - $189090

in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
$148570 - $198090

in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
