The Direct Fulfillment Lead is responsible for supporting the fulfillment operations and serves as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing questions, feedback, and issues.
This role involves training, leading, and assigning daily tasks to the fulfillment team to ensure smooth workflow, productivity, quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
The Direct Fulfillment Lead works closely with the Warehouse Assistant Manager and Warehouse Director to enhance operational efficiency and meet fulfillment goals to help create incredible brand experiences for millions of kids and families across the world.
What We're Looking For:
Training and Quality Control Provide thorough training for new employees on all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to MTD processes.
Ensure outbound pallets meet quality standards by regularly checking for issues such as incorrect labels, poorly packed boxes, and pallet height discrepancies.
Communicate quality expectations and provide guidance to the team to maintain high standards.
Inventory Management Oversee inventory counts, tracking supplies such as box sizes, tape, kraft paper, and other materials needed for order fulfillment.
Ensure the push-back racking is well-organized and correctly labeled for easy product retrieval.
Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking of MTD stations and red floor racking as necessary.
Task Management Lead and delegate tasks such as product restocking, receiving shipments, and moving pallets on the floor, ensuring smooth workflow and task completion.
Coordinate with team members to prioritize and manage MTD-related tasks, making real-time adjustments to improve efficiency and productivity.
Floor Optimization Analyze MTD sales data to optimize pallet arrangement and streamline operations to reduce unnecessary touches and increase productivity.
Develop new processes to enhance order fulfillment, focusing on minimizing handling time and improving throughput.
Order Fulfillment and Reporting Track order completion, especially for key accounts like Target DVS, by checking tiles at the end of each day.
Provide regular updates to management on order status, team performance, and any potential bottlenecks.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement Act as a liaison between team members and management to communicate any suggested improvements to workflows or processes.
Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership, feedback, and hands-on support.
Compliance and Safety Ensure team adherence to company policies and safety regulations at all times.
Promote a safety-first mindset and take corrective action when necessary to prevent accidents or injuries.
Additional Responsibilities Perform Warehouse Associate responsibilities including but not limited to operating forklifts, picking cases, unloading containers, and fulfilling direct orders.
Troubleshoot ERP systems and scanner issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruptions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of warehouse experience Previous experience in warehouse or fulfillment leadership Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of RF and WMS systems Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong communication skills MAGNA-TILES Offers Competitive pay Benefits package including health/dental, vacation, 401K matching and product discounts.
