Full job description Powell Flutes, established in 1927 and part of the Buffet Crampon Group since 2016, is one of the world's most iconic and prestigious musical instrument manufacturers. Located to the west of Boston, we are searching for an experienced Direct Sales and Showroom Manager . The successful candidate would be responsible for achieving the monthly and annual Direct Sales budgets, as well as collaborating with other members of the Sales and Marketing team on brand projects. The candidate would also utilize and develop our Showroom space in Maynard, MA, for promotional and sales events. This position reports directly to the General Manager and is focused on the North American market.
Projects Direct sales – Achieve monthly and annual sales budgets
– Prospect for leads and potential customers
– Maintain reporting on leads and sales pipeline
– Meet one on one with Direct Customers for Sales appointments
– Offer guidance to Direct Customers during the selection and purchasing processes, maintaining an extremely high level of customer service
– Travel as needed for Direct Customer appointments or for promotional events
Showroom events – Utilize and develop the Maynard Showroom for sales opportunities
– Plan and host events for visitors, artists, and company functions
– Host guests and visitors for Factory visits and provide with a workshop tour
Team responsabilities – Brand Marketing projects
– Brand Digital projects
– Invoicing and Shipping
– Product training and support
– New Product development and testing
– Maintain and expand Artist relationships

Required profile Profile – Bachelor's Degree
– Sales experience with consumer products/services
– High-level flute knowledge and playing ability.
– Friendly, outgoing, results oriented personality.
– Able to learn CRM software quickly and optimize the system.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Willingness to travel approximately one week per month.
– Candidate must be authorized to work legally in the US.
– Candidate must have a valid Driver's License and be able to drive as part of work-related travel.
