We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in a residential setting and/or community.
What You Get to Do: Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more.Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.Build relationships with persons served and teammates.Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.Transport persons served to appointments or other activities outside the home.Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.Document progress, milestones, and action steps. Qualifications What we look for: 18 years or older.21 years or older to work in child foster care homes.Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Dungarvin policy.
(Proof of valid DL is required).Current auto liability insurance.Computer skills for documentation.Ability to perform personal cares.Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Additional Information
