Job Title:Director – Accounting & Finance College of Medicine & Office of Health SciencesDepartment:Medicine | College Administration Summary: The Director of Accounting & Finance, College of Medicine and Office of Health Sciences leads and oversees the general accounting and financial operations and procurement team providing monthly financial reporting, general ledger system support, capital expenditure and fixed asset management and financial analysis. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining processes and systems which interface and support other teams within Finance Shared Services, such as budgeting, cost accounting, and decision support.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Level Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's degree and CPA certification preferred; minimum of 7-10 years' experience in general accounting, budget planning including experience in higher education required; previous experience in a finance leadership role strongly desired, preferable in academic medical center.
