Qualifications Demonstrated experience in volunteer leadership development including volunteer recruitment, stewardship, training and development. (Required) Experience responding to member inquiries and concerns in a customer service-oriented, volunteer-driven environment. (Required) Experience establishing, overseeing and evaluating collaborations and projects, and in developing support among both internal campus constituencies and external partners. (Required) Experience with and understanding of issues involved in a team-oriented environment made up of diverse individuals with a variety of interests, strengths and professional preparation. (Required) Experience with marketing and social media communications platforms including but not limited to: Salesforce, Blackbaud CRM, Smartsheet, Facebook/Instagram, and Adobe Creative Cloud. (Required) Experience working in educational and/or nonprofit, client service-oriented environment is highly desirable and preferred. (Preferred) Strong leadership skills provided through coaching, mentoring, and active listening to optimize performance of subordinates and volunteers, prior experience in effectively providing feedback and managing workloads. (Required) Strong background in project management, including identifying and setting priorities, performing detailed needs analyses, identifying stakeholders, developing action plans, segmenting projects into their component parts, and managing the process from inception to completion. (Required) Outstanding verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and distinctly, using grammatically correct language to obtain and express information accurately and precisely by phone and in person. (Required) Excellent written communication skills to create a wide variety of correspondence, proposals, strategic plans, reports, project plans and presentations; able to successfully deliver effective/impactful presentations to individuals/groups and efficiently convey a variety of data/material. (Required) Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to successfully identify and resolve potential and real problems in a timely manner using tact, sensitivity and political acumen during project planning, execution and close-out processes. (Required) Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.; ability to learn new technologies in a prompt and efficient manner. (Required) Demonstrated ability to work equally well independently and within a team, and to work on several tasks simultaneously and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines under minimal supervision.
