Are you successful turning lead generation into revenue streams?If so, keep reading!Precision for Medicine is hiring a Director, Business Developmentwho will be responsible for identifying and closing significant business opportunities for Precision Bioservices.This is a base + commission position and you may work fully remote when you are not traveling.Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:Identifies opportunities for all Bioservices products and services, including specialty lab services (biomarker assay development, validation and clinical sample testing), and central lab services (kitting, sample processing, biobanking and storage.) Both heavily regulated assays and exploratory correlative analyses will fall under position's remit.Develops and enhances client relationships to support customer retention and growthEstablishes a strong working relationship with Marketing, Assay Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Lab Operations and ManagementQualifies leads as receivedDevelops a strong understanding of our products and spec sheets to support our proposal team in crafting a proposal for clientsServe as internal advocate for client, as necessary, and depending on business needs, for budget negotiationsCloses new business and expands existing business relationshipsAttend conferences, trade shows and meetings as requiredMaintain contacts and opportunities using SalesForce.comOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Minimum Required:Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related sales experience; orMaster's Degree and 2 years of related sales experience; orPhD and 0-1 years of related sales experienceOther Required:Ability to work independently, manage time and create plans to achieve personal goal -"entrepreneurial" traits highly encouragedTeam player willing to collaborate and work closely with other teams who will provide input on client-facing documents and presentationsAbility to think creatively and strategically and act tactically in a dynamic environmentTrack record of successive increasing levels of responsibilityProven track record of successful client relationship management and business development, particularly if in pharmaceutical, biotech or CRO organization with success in sales of specialty lab servicesMust be self-directed and self-motivated to work at a highly technical levelWilling to travel up to 35%Must possess a valid driver's license allowing you to drive in the state(s) you drive in  Able to travel both domestically and internationally including overnight staysMust be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English languagePreferred:Academic concentration in life sciences or related fieldMasters or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry10 years of related sales experience
