The Director, Cell Therapy Decision Engine Business Intelligence is responsible for creating an end-to-end analytics solution to automate decisions and actions for cell therapy. This will enable the use of integrated data to optimize and automate business processes and outcomes through decision intelligence for predictive monitoring, real-time analysis and decision making.
Create end-to-end analytics solutions (acquire, integrate, and transform various data, develop production reporting pipelines, develop front-end BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power-BI, etc.)Analytics thought-leader and Subject Matter Expert for your domain and influence organization decisions through providing data-driven recommendations verbally or in writingFocuses on complex and/or ambiguous problem areas in existing or new BI initiativesTake the long-term view of your team's solutions and how they fit into the team's architectureTake the lead on large projects that require the work of multiple personsEstablish good working relationships with teammates and peersOperational Excellence, code reviews, syntax and naming convention, metric definitions, alarms) and set standardsWork to resolve the root cause(s) of pervasive or persistent problems; your efforts may unblock related teamsRole model BMS behaviors of Accountability, Passion, Urgency, Innovation, Inclusion, and IntegrityExperience: 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experienceExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning softwareBachelor's degree in computer science, business, economics, math, finance, or similar fields10+ years of technical management in Data, Analytics and Business Intelligence5+ years of experience in building and operating large-scale technology systems4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experienceThe starting compensation for this job is a range from $182,000 - $229,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
