Director, Clinical - Lydia House

The Clinical Director holds a pivotal role in leading and managing the clinical services at Lydia House by providing exceptional, culturally responsive, and evidence-based social services to kamali ?i. With a robust clinical backgrou nd and outstanding leadership abilities, the Clinical Director mentors and supports staff in their professional growth, while collaborating closely with the Lydia House leadership team to formulate and execute program goals, policies, and procedures. Furthermore, this position will provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address the wellbeing of the youth.
Clinical Oversight:
Provide direct clinical supervision to social workers, interns, and other mental health professionals. Conduct regular case reviews and provide feedback to ensure the delivery of effective services. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, agency policies, and state and federal regulations. Clinical and Therapeutic Sessions:
Provide therapeutic sessions individually with opportunity youth. Provide group support with opportunity youth. Provide crisis intervention to opportunity youth. Provide clinical individual and group supervision with staff members. Program Development and Implementation:
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement new clinical programs and services. Oversee the evaluation of existing programs to ensure effectiveness and quality improvement. Staff Management:
Supervise the case manager staff and other clinical staff. Assist with the hiring, training, and mentoring new clinical staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support staff development. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all clinical services are delivered in accordance with best practices and evidence-based standards. Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of services. Client Advocacy:
Work closely with community partners to coordinate services and resources for clients. Professional Development:
Stay current with trends and developments in the field of social work and mental health. Participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical and supervisory skills. Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and complete clinical records and documentation. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in agency-wide meetings and committees as required. Other Duties: Contributes to the Trust's success by accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve team and organization results. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent licensure. Ph.D. degree in social work or psychology is highly sought. Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct clinical practice. 2+ years of experience in clinical supervision or management. Strong knowledge of social work theories, practices, and ethics. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems. Experience in program development and evaluation. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and other specialized clinical modalities. Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods. Occasional lifting and carrying of files and other materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Office environment with occasional travel to community sites and client homes. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Collaboration: Ability to interact effectively with youth, community partners, and multi-disciplinary teams. Knowledge of community resources and services. Communication: Clearly conveys and receives information and ideas to individuals or groups that engages the listener and invites response and feedback. Demonstrates good written, oral, and listening skills. Cultural Competence: Respects and relates well to people from varied backgrounds and is sensitive to group differences. Experience working with at-risk youth.
