Director, Collaborator Experience (Human Resources)

The budgeted starting salary for this role is $120,000-130,000.
The Director of Collaborator Experience (CX, aka HR) will lead CX strategies to align with company objectives, manage the CX budget, and drive process improvements to enhance collaborator engagement. This role oversees HR Information Systems (HRIS) for data integrity and operational efficiency, ensures compliance with employment laws, and provides guidance on complex employee relations. Additionally, the Director will mentor the CX team and implement compensation and benefits strategies to promote a positive, inclusive workplace.
Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring resources are allocated responsibly to support initiatives and overall collaborator engagement.Identify, develop, and implement improvements in CX processes and policies, driving adoption across the organization.Lead change management efforts including policies and procedures that promote fair treatment, positive communication, and alignment with organizational values within CX, and collaborate with other functions to ensure cohesive integration.Provide guidance in shaping the organization's long-term goals, aligning CX strategies with company objectives.Lead and mentor the CX team, creating an environment that values collaboration, responsibility, and excellence.Oversee the organization's HR Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and functionality.Identify opportunities to leverage technology for improved CX operations, data reporting, and collaborator experience.Oversee compliance with all employment laws and regulations and provide guidance to leadership on regulatory updates to minimize risk.Acts as a resource for complex employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to CX Business Partners in addressing workplace issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.Ensures compliance with employment laws and internal policies in all employee relations cases, working closely with legal advisors as needed.Lead the development and execution of compensation and benefits strategies that support organizational objectives, attract talent, and promote employee well-being. Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Human Resources Management.10+ years of experience in a Human Resources role.5+ years of experience in a leadership role.Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple projects within a dynamic environment. All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
