Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing leader in the Audio-Visual Solutions industry, is seeking a Director, Corporate Sales.
The Director of Corporate Sales will take charge of all aspects of the sales process, including new business development, achieving revenue and gross profit targets, and contributing to the planning and execution of a defined growth strategy for designated regions.
In this leadership role, you will mentor and support Account Managers by conducting performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback, and enhancing their techniques in areas such as prospecting, marketing, and delivering impactful presentations. Additionally, you will provide guidance through strategy-focused presentations and regular meetings while ensuring that Account Managers are well-prepared for pre-sales activities, including call planning and preparation.
Responsibilities include the following:
Manage and supervise daily corporate sales activities to ensure alignment with business goals.
Setting guidelines for prospecting, meetings, reporting, etc.
Accompany the Account Managers on calls and provide coaching and guidance
Participating in and providing support for trade shows where the company exhibits or engages.
Attending certification training sessions as needed, including AVIXA and manufacturer-specific programs.
Ensure integrated efforts and provide feedback and direction to staff regarding strategic planning, goals and objectives for overall company performance, individual performance, employee retention and acquisition.
Be responsible for administration and distribution of timely sales reports and projections as required
Communicate sales issues to other members of the management team.
Oversee staff development and training, collaborating with management to regularly assess and evaluate progress.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan, incorporating market research, sales projections, territory or vertical market assignments, identification of key and target accounts, and strategies for new and existing customer development.
Create a procedure for submitting high quality proposals to customers.
Ensure all sales staff evaluations are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
Attend job meetings as needed to represent the company, addressing specific requirements or concerns. Identify when it is appropriate for your involvement to support the sales staff in customer interactions.

Salary Commensurate with experience
