Description:This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading multiple teams of cybersecurity professionals that are tasked with the planning, design, coordination, and continual improvement of enterprise-wide identity and access management programs and platforms. A successful director at Starbucks is a self-starter, a natural problem solver, collaborative, and able to work well with adversity and ambiguity. You should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, a deep technical understanding of modern identity solutions and the relevant cybersecurity threats, and a validated track record of a hands-on approach to leading and maturing programs in highly targeted environments at scale. Success for the role will be the delivery of a world class program that is positioned to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions across the enterprise. Leadership - Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together:
• Models leadership behaviors that are grounded in Starbucks Mission and Values.
• Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership,and teamwork to achieve business results.
• Supports the implementation of enterprise programs, procedures, methods, and practices to promote Starbucks key messages and achieve acompetitive advantage.
Planning and Execution - Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results:
• Plan and manage process and practices to ensure delivery of a world class identity and access management (IAM) program.
• Establishes key performance indicators and proactively reports to stakeholders on performance of IAM activities and metrics, and related riskposture.
Technical Design and Implementation - Providing technical expertise and executing technical responsibilities:
• Responsible for metrics and clear communication on the state of the work group and associated programs.
• Partner with other teams to continuously improve and advance the organization's operational security capabilities.
Partner Development and Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and building an effective team:
• Build and lead a team that supports each other, makes others feel welcome, and succeeds (or fails) together.
• Challenge and inspire the team to achieve world class results.
• Support partners in their career growth.
• Oversee training and development of partners directly and indirectly managed and make effective staffing decisions.
Ownership – Taking accountability for the quality and success of the outcome of the team's work:
• Define and maintain processes, procedures, and expectations for the work group's support responsibilities.

• 10+ years of experience working in an information technology discipline
• 8+ years of experience in identity and access management
• 8+ years of experience leading and developing highly performing teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPM, or others focused on cybersecurity, data privacy, or information risk management
• Demonstrated ability to lead the day-to-day tasks of diverse teams, while effectively influencing senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to develop teams and mentor staff
• Proven ability to manage and facilitate annual operating budgets and strategic planning
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid business acumen

Compensation:As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below directorand 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually forroles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners can work remotely up to two days per week.
