The Director of Distribution is a leadership role responsible for overseeing inbound receiving, order management, inventory control, outbound fulfillment, and reverse logistics at NOBULL. The Director manages and monitors the 3rd party relationships across all distribution center operations. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with key internal partners in the company, and optimization of processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. The Director of Distribution will play a critical role in driving accountability, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service in the distribution function.
Responsibilities:Lead the Distribution function for NOBULL, inclusive of strategy and executionManage the day to day operations through 3rd party partnersCreate and implement processes, KPI's and scorecards to maximize service levels and optimize costsBuild the distribution center network to support the long term growth of NOBULLCollaborate with the Customer Service function to address Distribution-related customer inquiries and issuesOwn and manage the Distribution budgetIdentify and mitigate risks associated with distribution operations, including supply chain disruptionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and launch supply chain solutions to enhance the customer experience and build new capabilitiesLead, coach and mentor a team of direct reports to be accountable for different aspects of DistributionQualifications:10+ years of relevant logistics experience3+ years in a management position that includes direct supervision of personnelExperience in footwear or apparel preferredStrategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and offer data-driven insightsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teamsKnowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and eCommerce & wholesale processesProficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and NetSuite or similar systemsAbility to travel 10 – 15% If you are an applicant located in California, please review our California Applicant Privacy Notice, which explains the categories of personal information that we collect and the purposes for which we use such personal information.
