This role involves managing relationships with third-party partners to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
The Director will be responsible for creating and implementing processes, KPIs, and scorecards to optimize service levels and costs.
Collaboration with the Customer Service function is crucial to address distribution-related inquiries and issues effectively.
The position requires ownership of the distribution budget and the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with distribution operations.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant logistics experience, demonstrating a strong background in distribution and supply chain management.A minimum of 3 years in a management position is required, showcasing the ability to supervise and lead personnel effectively.Experience in the footwear or apparel industry is preferred, indicating familiarity with the specific challenges and dynamics of this sector.The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of analyzing data to provide insights that drive operational improvements.Strong leadership skills are essential, with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams towards achieving high performance.
