Job Description:

Director, Educational Development & Community Education

This position provides leadership for educational development, community education, medical library services, and the education center through direct supervision, assessment, planning, consulting, and teaching.

Areas of focus include orientation, competency management, education, role development (leadership and staff), collaborative partnerships, and EBP. Contributes to the professional development of others and supports life-long learning.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Nursing (preferably Nursing Education) or Healthcare Education

Ky RN License

Three (3) years' healthcare teaching experience and program development in the healthcare field

Minimum of five (5) years' health care experience

Trained in Adult Education Principles
