This full-time position offers a dynamic role starting with covering a maternity leave and transitioning to a K-8 campus for the remainder of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Instruction: Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a special education setting. Initial Assignment: Cover a maternity leave until October, then transition to a K-8 campus to support students through the end of the school year. IEP Management: Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet each students unique needs. Collaboration: Work with school staff, parents, and other professionals to foster a supportive and effective learning environment. Qualifications: Certification: Must hold a valid Arizona Special Education Teaching License. Experience: Prior experience in special education is preferred. Skills: Strong instructional abilities, organizational skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to diverse student needs.
