Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for an experienced Director to lead our Emergency Department team! Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional emergency care? We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, and experienced Director to lead our team and drive excellence in patient care, operations, and innovation. Starting Salary: $4,511 - $5,414 bi-weekly. Internal transfers - per personnel rules. This position is eligible for relocation assistance of up to $15,000, plus 6 months of temporary housing or up to $7,000 for housing expenses. Job Summary: The Director of the Emergency Department assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care and all staff activities for the Emergency Department including the Stroke Program, Trauma program and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program.
The Director maximizes resource utilization and achieves organizational objectives through continuous improvement and process evaluation for cost effective care and quality clinical outcomes. It is expected that the Director ensures compliance with established organizational, professional and accreditation standards and state/federal laws and regulations.
In programs with coordinators in place, the Director supports those leaders in addressing personnel, patient, and operational issues that escalate. The Director manages patient care operations and directs and coaches staff in personnel and patient care processes.

Desired Qualifications: Education: Graduation from accredited Nursing Program. Bachelor's degree preferred or may substitute year for year experience. Master's degree desirable.
License(s): State of Alaska Registered Nurse
Certification(s): Current Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, PALS, TEAM/BERT within 90 days of hire, ENPC within one year of hire, TNCC within one year of hire.
Experience(s): A minimum of five years of current acute care nursing experience. Two years of supervisory/management experience.
