As a Director of Engineering at Bezos Academy, you will create life-changing technology for teachers and children in support of our mission to expand access to high-quality preschool education in under-resourced areas across the country. You will lead a team of engineers as part of a larger single-threaded team that develops products that enable our teachers to assess learning, personalize instruction, nurture children's original thinking, and spark joy in every child.
You have a track record of up-leveling first-generation products -- delivering web and mobile solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and solve human problems. You thrive in start-up environments where you can focus on creating, improving, inventing, and innovating on behalf of our students and teachers. You think holistically about technology, product, and design and are an influential contributor to the whole organization. Above all, you are inspired by our mission and excited to be a pioneer in the space where technology and Montessori-inspired preschool converge.
