About the Team: Quizlet provides ML-driven learning tools focused on high school and college students worldwide. With over 60M monthly active users and 400 million Study Sets created, the scale of the platform and user interactions we support is massive. About the Role: In this critical leadership position, you'll be reporting to our VP of Product Engineering. You will work closely with your Business, Product, and Design counterparts as well as Data Science and Data Engineering peers to deliver a world-class consumer internet subscription experience (Quizlet Plus) that drives our large and growing business.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Denver or San Francisco office hubs.

In this role you will:Lead the cross functional engineering team responsible for critical user facing features, back-end services, and infrastructurePrioritize short- and long-term goals, along with architectural trade-offs to ensure the team is able to deliver quality results while meeting the team's deliverablesCollaborate and build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product Management, Design, and Business OperationsAbility to communicate and collaborate with across different functions and levels of the organization, including executive leadership teamHire, coach, and promote a diverse and talented team of full stack engineers and managersBe a critical leader contributing to Quizlet's broader successWhat you bring to the table:3+ years experience in a highly collaborative, growth-driven environment centered on subscriptions and payments5+ years experience successfully leading, managing, and coaching multiple engineering teams8+ years of hands on software development experienceYou will be responsible for strategically developing and implementing plans to drive the success of the subscriptions Engineering organizationStrong interest in developing technical and people leaders, supporting career developmentInfectious enthusiasm about building a highly successful and growing consumer businessExperience leading teams of 15+Ability to develop a results-driven culture focused on core values of ownership and accountabilityBonus points if you have:"Freemium" or ads experienceCompensation, Benefits & Perks:Quizlet is an equal opportunity employer.
