Job Description Your Role
The IT Business Operations team are a trusted team who enable the enterprise to become a business-oriented, product led, Agile organization. The Director of Enterprise Value Streams will report to the Sr. Director of IT Business Operations. In this role you will be responsible for launching enterprise Value Streams that includes establishing ownership with senior business leaders, implementing standards, practices and value metrics, establishing cross matrix teams do deliver value on prioritized initiatives for providing leadership for the cross-functional management of IT across the enterprise. Improves and implements standard agile ways of working through common methodologies, processes, and tools for developing and operating agile teams. This individual is responsible for enterprise change management for agile adoption and maturity for Blue Shield of California. Your Work
In this role, you will:
Drive Blue Shield of California vision and strategy to implement and Agile delivery with measurable contribution towards the achievement of enterprise results Integrate organizations across the enterprise using multisourced information to drive adoption and maturity, align the horizontal business processes and optimize organizational performance Value Stream and Release Train Implementation: Drive the launch of Agile Release Train (ART) through a sustainable, scalable process Co-Lead ART implementation team & Process Onboard new VPs for new ART Facilitate events including Program Increment Planning, retrospectives and Inspect and Adapt Partnership and Collaboration: Co-Lead business change champions and workstream owners comprised of individuals and leaders from all business organizations as well as EPMO, finance and people and engagement Partner with HR and managers to drive role transition within the business Partner with business lead to remove roadblocks at the ART, value stream, and leader level Partner with Finance and Strategy on funding and Lean Portfolio Management Communicate and track Annual Agile VP goals Progress and Communication: Drive cadence of Value Stream metric updates and report outs to leadership as well as Operating Committee Drive cohesive communications strategy at Value Stream and ART Continuous Improvement: Sponsor extended Lean Agile Center of Excellence Daily Standups Remove roadblocks at the extended LACE team level Drive necessary culture change, oversee change management plans for the LACE; conduct retrospectives Qualifications Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Requires at least 15 years of experience leading BPM/continuous improvement activities from ideation through execution (internal to a company, or as an external consultant) Experience developing appropriate end to end metrics and measurements to align with Agile maturity and long-range strategic goals Experience proactively building relationships and align stakeholders, capabilities and resources to efficiently achieve complex objectives Experience providing big picture thinking and innovative strategic consultation Ability to use external benchmarking and customer research both within the healthcare industry and outside the industry to establish program goals and strategies Requires in depth knowledge of Blue Shield of California business organizations, health plans and end to end processes Certification in an industry recognized problem-solving methodology (i.e. Six Sigma master black belt, Certified Quality Manager, Scaled Agile Certification, etc.) strongly preferred Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 165990.00 to $ 248930.00 for California. Note:
Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Due to the current public health emergency in California, Blue Shield employees are almost all working remotely. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
