The Role The Director, Finance Integration will hold an essential leadership role in integrating newly acquired business, including the acquisition of Standard International and the newly announced joint venture with Grupo Pinero.Key responsibilities include partnering with teams across Finance and with cross-functional teams to prepare and execute an integration plan, including incorporating newly acquired businesses into our financial reporting and forecasting processes, partnering with the Finance Transformation team to transition newly acquired businesses to our financial systems, working with corporate accounting and other key stakeholders to ensure we are appropriately transitioning the accounting and billing responsibilities, and preparing and monitoring the integration budget. This position will serve as a key liaison between the broader Finance team, the Transactions team, and representatives of the newly acquired businesses. Furthermore, this role will provide regular updates to Finance and organizational leadership teams (i.e. Corporate Controller, GFLT, etc.) on integration progress, challenges, and recommendations to address issues that arise. •Develop, lead, and coordinate the integration efforts amongst all Finance functions and collaborate cross-functionally with teams outside of Finance, including operations, IT, and commercial services in order to fully integrate newly acquired businesses.Serve as the finance liaison for all communications needed. •Coordinate with commercial services and loyalty finance teams to integrate properties into Hyatt's existing World of Hyatt and Commercial Services Fund framework, as appropriate. •Lead and develop any necessary tracking and coordination with accounting and HR for any integration-related employee payments (e.g., retention bonuses, severance, relocation, etc.). •Maintain responsibility for integration expense budget, forecasting, and reporting and serve as the key point person for tracking the overall integration efforts; provide regular updates to Regional Finance and GFLT. •Lead integration efforts for financial reporting, including consolidations, financial reporting, and cash flows. •Coordinate any transitions to shared services and be the point person to coordinate timelines and cross-functional dependencies. •Partner with the Finance Transformation team to coordinate the implementation of Oracle financial systems for hotel and above-property teams. •Coordinate with corporate accounting to ensure a smooth transition for billing and collection of fees. •Gather and incorporate essential input throughout the integration process to make critical decisions and support the various finance functions. •Document a playbook for integrations to ensure the success of future acquisitions. •Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values. Experience Required: •Bachelor's degree required •Minimum of 12 years of experience •Hyatt internal relationship experiences critical Experience Preferred: •Master's degree •5+ years of hospitality experience •Experience in a project-based role •Hyperion and Oracle experience The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing.
