Who You Are Campaign mindset with "get-it-done" attitudeInterested in health care and education policyExcited to take on new issue campaigns and projects regardless of topic or tactic familiarityExperienced at managing junior team membersAttentive to details, highly professional and able to manage multiple projects at onceSolutions-oriented and collaborativeBackground in public affairs, coalitions, campaign management, media relations or non-profit managementWhat You Do Serve as the account lead for both corporate public affairs and non-profit clientsManage projects, events, and advocacy activity from concept to implementationDevelop and manage relationships with patient and provider advocacy groups and other allied stakeholdersDirect and support junior staffYour Skills 8+ years of experience working in non-profits, advocacy, public affairs, or campaign politicsPrevious experience in health care advocacy is preferredAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlinesStrong written and verbal communications and persuasion skillsExperience managing junior team membersAttitude of initiative, innovation, collaboration and continual improvementWillingness to learn and incorporate feedbackSalary & Benefits This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC with competitive salary, health insurance, 401(k) and paid vacation.
