Responsibilities
• Lead and administer the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center• Foster relationships across the institution and build innovative programs• Coordinate cancer research, education, and patient care• Promote an inclusive culture in the workforce and academic environment• Ensure transparency, effective problem resolution, and ethical decision-making
Requirements
• MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with a track record in cancer research• Progressive administrative leadership experience in an academic medical center• National recognition for achievement in clinical, educational, and research pursuits• Record of developing research infrastructure and securing funding• Minimum of five years leadership achievement in a comparable academic medical center• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills• Experience promoting an inclusive culture• Previous experience in collaborative cancer care environment• Strategic thinking and adaptability to market dynamics• Ability to engage the community and support missions through philanthropy• Strong leadership and advocacy skills
