Director Hospital Compliance Education
Chicago, Illinois Our client is one of the top five pediatric and academic medical centers in the United States. They have engaged our firm to perform a national search to identify the top candidates in the country to help take their Compliance services to the next level. The Director, Compliance Education Services responsible for developing and maintaining content to meet the requirements of our Compliance and Integrity Program education activities including fraud/waste/abuse awareness, HIPAA privacy and security, conflict of interest, vendor relations, leader/manager compliance expectations and compliance related portions of new employee orientation; develop and maintain education schedule; deliver training to faculty and staff; track employee compliance education data; and manage daily operations for the Program education activities. Education initiatives include curriculum development, course promotion, course delivery, and requirements tracking.
Audience for courses will include all levels of employees, including faculty, senior leadership, clinical and non-clinical staff, residents/fellows, and medical students at the Medical Center.
This position will be reporting to the Sr. Director Compliance and Associate Compliance Officer. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, in a healthcare related field preferred.
Certification by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) preferred. Five (5) plus years applicable healthcare compliance experience; in an academic medical center preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbal and in writing, complex subjects in a clear and understandable manner. Prior experience in creating presentation materials and delivering content; exceptional writing skills. Demonstrated "in-person" training experience required, prior adult learning experience preferred.
